Hidden Hvar, Wine & Olive Oil —
Private Tasting Tour
After hotel pickup in Hvar Town, the first stop is Napoleon's Fortress, perched 250 metres above sea level. The views from here are extraordinary — sweeping panoramas over Hvar Town, the scattered Pakleni Islands, and the shimmering Adriatic stretching to the horizon. The perfect introduction to the island's breathtaking beauty.
The journey continues along quiet inland roads through fragrant lavender fields, traditional dry-stone walls, and charming historic villages untouched by mass tourism. The next stop is St. Roko's Chapel, a peaceful viewpoint overlooking Stari Grad and the UNESCO-protected Stari Grad Plain — one of the best-preserved ancient agricultural landscapes in the entire Mediterranean, in continuous use since Greek colonisation in the 4th century BC.
The highlight of the tour awaits in the charming coastal town of Jelsa, at the legendary Duboković Wine Cellar — a family-run winery that has put quality above quantity for nearly nine decades. Meet renowned winemaker Ivo Duboković and enjoy a private tasting of 6 to 8 distinctive wines in an 89-year-old candlelit cellar, paired with aromatic olive oils infused with Mediterranean herbs.
After the tasting, enjoy the comfortable drive back to Hvar Town — reflecting on the flavours, landscapes and authentic traditions that make Hvar such a remarkable island. Adriatic Pass holders receive a 10% discount — just mention it when you book via WhatsApp.

“As someone who loves exploring every destination in depth, Tonci's tour was truly exceptional. His passion, knowledge, and kindness made our trip to Hvar unforgettable. We visited Hvar Town, drove along scenic inland roads with stops at breathtaking viewpoints and historic lavender fields, and explored several charming locations. Malo Grablje was our favourite — an abandoned village where Tonci brought its rich history to life. The tour ended with dinner at a small family-run tavern where we tried peka for the first time.”
