Full-Day Adventure Combos from Split: Canyoning, Rafting & Paintball (2026)

Why a Full Day in the Cetina Canyon Is Worth It

The Cetina river and its canyon are one of the most impressive natural landscapes in Croatia — dramatic limestone gorge, cold clear water, and a setting completely removed from the coastal tourist circuit. The half-day trips are excellent, but the full-day combos give you something different: two activities, a proper break for lunch in the canyon, and an entire day immersed in the landscape.

All three full-day combos run from Split with organised transfers. They depart at 10 AM, include lunch, and return to Split in the late afternoon. Equipment, insurance, and professional guides are included in the €105 price.

Full Day Canyoning and Paintball — €105

The most popular full-day combo. Morning is spent canyoning on the Cetina — walking through the river and its rapids, going through subterranean tunnels, swimming in natural pools, navigating past waterfalls. The Cetina canyoning route is 2,300 metres through the canyon with a 73-metre altitude drop.

After canyoning, there's a lunch stop in Village Zadvarje — a proper sit-down meal, included in the price. Then a 15-minute transfer to the paintball field, which is set in an abandoned stone village near the canyon. The afternoon is paintball: strategy, teamwork, and paint.

What makes it work: The contrast between the two activities is part of the appeal. Morning is physical and immersive; afternoon is tactical and social. By the end of the day you've done two completely different things and eaten lunch in a Dalmatian village most tourists never see.

Stats: 2,300m canyoning route · 14-17°C river · Min. age 8 · Min. 6 people · April 15 – October 30 · 10 AM departure

Not included: Extra paintball ammo (100 balls/€6). Payment on the day, cash.

Full Day Canyoning and Tubing — €105

Two water activities, no transfers between them — the day flows from one to the other seamlessly. Morning canyoning takes you through the upper section of the canyon: tunnels, pools, waterfalls, rapids on foot. The canyoning route ends at a lake where picnic lunch is laid out on the bank.

After lunch, you enter the water again for river tubing — floating 6,300 metres downstream through the canyon on an inflatable tube. Where canyoning is active and technical, tubing is relaxed and social. The canyon walls scroll past, the current does most of the work, and the afternoon moves at an easy pace.

The total route — canyoning plus tubing — is 6,300 metres through the Cetina gorge. There's no transfer between activities, which means the day feels continuous rather than two separate trips bolted together.

Stats: 6,300m total route · 14-17°C river · Min. age 8 · Min. 6 people · April 15 – October 30 · 10 AM departure

Full Day Rafting and Paintball — €105

Rafting on the Cetina is the most dramatic version of the river experience — the 11,000-metre route covers more ground than canyoning, the Grade 2-3 rapids require real effort and teamwork, and the canyon views from a raft are unlike anything you get on foot. The morning on the water ends with a BBQ lunch in Village Zadvarje.

The afternoon is paintball at an abandoned stone village near the canyon — running through ruins, hiding behind walls, playing capture the flag or seek-and-destroy games in a setting that looks nothing like a commercial paintball facility.

Note on age: Rafting is suitable from age 8; paintball requires a minimum age of 16. This is the only full-day combo with a higher minimum age for the afternoon activity.

Stats: 11,000m rafting · Grade 2-3 rapids · 14-17°C river · Min. age 8 (rafting) / 16 (paintball) · Min. 6 people · April 15 – November 30 · 10 AM departure

Not included: Extra paintball ammo (100 balls/€6). Payment on the day, cash.

Half-Day vs Full-Day — Which Should You Choose?

If you want to try one activity and still have the afternoon for the beach or the city, the half-day tours are the right choice. They run in the morning and return you to Split by early afternoon.

If the Cetina canyon is a highlight of your trip — if you want to immerse yourself in it properly rather than pass through — the full-day combos give you a complete experience. The lunch break in Village Zadvarje, the two activities, the slow return transfer through the Dalmatian hinterland: it feels like a proper adventure, not a tourist excursion.

See the half-day tours guide for a comparison of the individual activities.
